Project Objective

The project objective is to design and build a mechanical device that can be constructed onto a wheelchair that reduces the physical exertion needed by the user through the use of mechanical advantage. It must be user friendly and be able to fit through a standard household door while rolling in the desired direction.


Target Client: Any person that uses a wheelchair on a daily basis, especially those who are weaker and unable to move up inclined surfaces
