Team #10 Group Charter
Project Goals
The goal of this project is to gain design experience through a cohesive and collaborate team effort. This is to be accomplished through strengthened project management skills, resource management, machine shop experience, and project timeline development.
Organizational Goals
            Team organization is to be accomplished through the following:
  • Create and maintain project documents binder
  • Plan and structure meetings
  • Quick and effective communication via e-mail and telephone correspondence
  • Weekly updates
  • Posting of project material and progress on group website

Team Member Expectations
Each team member will be held to these expectations unless otherwise decided upon by the majority vote of group members:
  • Attend ALL meetings unless given proper notice to all group members
  • Participation in all group lab discussions unless given proper notice to all group members
  • Equivalent funding for project expenses
  • Respect is to be given to each team member and all arguments/conflicts are to be mediated in a civilized manner
  • Project tasks are to be equally shared among group members. If any member(s) are unable to complete his required task, he must notify the group and find a team member to complete said task.
Project Deliverables
            This project is intended for design and manufacture of a wheelchair apparatus that utilizes mechanical advantage and human power to allow for wheelchair movement with less physical exertion.
Expected Project Deadline
  • Conceptual Design Review – May 2014
  • Prototype Construction – December 2014
